Distance encodes the intent

0 cmContact — deep penetration: muscle, tendon, joint.
1 cmLocalised lesion: wound, plaque, scar, painful area.
10 cmSurface coverage: whole face, scalp, daily routine.

Pain relief

The immediate-intervention family. Photomodulation relieves pain by activating oxygen transfer in the bloodstream, which reduces inflammation and oxidative stress — a non-thermal action that activates or inhibits cells depending on the parameters used.

The only family containing on-demand protocols with no schedule. The others are calendar-based and span acute shock (short daily course) to chronic conditions (osteoarthritis, 7 sessions/week for a month).

Module recommendations
Do not apply to open wounds.
Wait 24 h after surgery before starting.
May be repeated to cover the whole treated area.

Acute pain is rated on the 0–10 numerical scale used in medicine: 5 is moderate pain, 7 and above is acute. This protocol aims to bring acute pain back below the tolerance threshold, under 5, straight away. It uses two wavelengths — red and near infrared — for their analgesic properties. Use it as soon as intense pain appears, before any other treatment, and repeat it as often as the person needs. It relieves, it does not treat: if the pain is inflammatory, follow with the protocol matching the stage of the condition and its cause, traumatic or medical — impact, sting, healing, muscle soreness.
